Strange Deliveries

Most of the time, messenger companies deliver to offices. Less often is commercial spaces, followed by residences, etc. Bret walked into a storefront at 30 W 21st St in Manhattan and found himself in a David Lynch-ian landscape.

In addition to the giant elephant in the middle of the room, the entire store had been compressed into two dimensions. Just like the classic 1884 novella Flatland. Just with Bret standing in the middle of it

Walking through the empty store, Bret figured it was some variety of art installation. The strangest piece of the installation was this actual size photo of the artist asleep in bed.

Stranger still was coming across the artist, actually asleep in the back of the exhibit. Was this part of the exhibition? Performance art capping off the installation?

Turns out it was just a nap, which we had to end to successfully make our delivery.
