SHEESH! WE HAVENT BLOGGED IN FORVER! WHAT GIVES?

But we've been busy. Doing work. Taking vacations. Riding to the beach. Working as a stuntman. Cooking things over fire, outside. SUMMER TIME PEOPLE, do I really need to explain it to you? Hopefully you left your internet viewing spot and saw some of the beautiful summer we had here in NYC.

But it's all behind us now. It's fall. It's still gorgeous, just mixed with the occasional tornado, hail storm, lightning fest or what have you.

Winter is coming, and the nerds amongst our readers will know that phrase as the Stark words from a Game of Thrones. Which, incidentally, HBO is turning into a series and I'm a bit ashamed to admit I'm really excited about something that's gonna be on television.

Speaking of television, the reality of a reality television series about bike messengers seems to be rapidly approaching. It seems like something producers have been trying to put together forever.

It was close to a decade ago MTV first approached my buddy Vinnie in Washington, DC about putting together a reality show about bike messengers. That didn't go anywhere. Although, I think Vinnie might've ended up on MTV anyway. Does anyone even watch MTV anymore?

I moved back to NYC in 2004, and since then have been approached a jillion times by producers working on tv shows, documentaries, books, magazines, internet broadcasts, radio shows. Apparently, people think we're interesting.

The obvious alternative to us being interesting is that everyone else is boring. In fact, that's what I'm saying henceforth: every time someone asks me to take place in their reality tv show, they're insulting you.

I'll report back (soon I hope) about our trips to Guatemala for the Cycle Messenger World Championship and Atlanta for the North American Cycle Courier Championships and whatever else has transpired in the last two months.

Until then thank you for your business, and thank you for reading our dumb blog.
